We had such a wonderful Christmas this year. We were sad that June got really sick right before Christmas so Jake's family couldn't come out anymore, but we still had a nice one nonetheless. It was nice having Christmas Eve on Saturday and having the whole day together as a family. We baked, played and finished up last minute things. The girls were so much fun all day and so excited.

Christmas morning...June was so excited about all of her presents and once she was done opening hers she was quite content just wandering and looking at what everyone else got...she was so much fun.

More Presents...

I loved having Christmas on Sunday this year. We got up early and opened all of our presents and ate breakfast and then we all got ready and headed off to church. It was perfect. I loved being able to take a break from the worldly (albeit fun) part of Christmas and take part in a very spiritual part and feel our hearts with the true meaning and spirit of Christmas. It was wonderful. We had to get lots of pictures of our beautiful girls in their Christmas dresses. (you will notice Molly and Annie both forgot how to smile normal in half the pictures...haha funny ages)

We really all had such a great Christmas. We loved being home together as a family. I love that the girls get so excited to draw names and by gifts for one of their sisters. And seriously it was the first thing they wanted to do after opening their gifts from Santa was to give their sister the gift they picked out for them. They love seeing their sisters get excited about a gift they picked out just for them. We were all spoiled. My parents gave us such an incredible gift. They together pieced and tied levi quilts for each of us kids with squares from many of the pants we wore growing up along with some from Megan's. It is such a special thing that we will treasure for a long time. And Jake and the girls gave me the best present ever...if you ever come to visit I will be sure to show it to you and trust me you want to see it. I think I bawled all Christmas morning due to the tremendous amount of love I felt. Well hope you all had a great Christmas too.

December 2011

December started off as it usually does around here...we went and got our Christmas tree the first weekend. We cut our own again this year and it was lots of fun (well for the first half anyways, until the kids were too cold). Jake pulled the older girls on the sled, which we were lucky we brought because there were some spots that the snow was pretty darn deep.

I know June doesn't look to happy here, but she actually loved being outside...as long as the snow did not touch her.

I took the girls back to the truck to get off their wet clothes and get them in their seats to warm up...I was quite impressed that Jake was already done cutting down and bringing back the tree by the time I was finished doing that. See how tough he is. And the tree was at least 12 feet...haha.

I was able to go watch both the girls at dance to see what they have been learning...they were both really cute and did quite well.

I tried to do something fun and Christmasy with the girls each day...we weren't perfect and I didn't get pictures of them all, but here is our hot cocoa with candy canes and we did other things like, call loved ones and sing carols, make snow flakes, do something nice for someone else, take treats to neighbors and friends and a whole lot more. It made everyday exciting.

We were able to see the Jolly man himself at our ward Christmas party.

Molly loved it and made sure to remind him she wanted an American Girl Doll.

Annie loved it too and also reminded him she wanted an American Girl Doll as well.

June did not love it so much....these are seriously some of my favorite pictures.

We were able to go to the Smith Family Christmas party and sure had a lot of fun. Jeremy and Katie were great hosts and had a lot of fun things for us all to do.

Silly Junie

The theme for the party was Christmas Around the World, and they had lots of different activities from different countries. Here is Senor Jeremy...haha, wish you could see the stache...haha.

Here in Mexico the kids were able to try and break open a pinata. Here is June taking here turn.

We were able to make our traditional gingerbread house one weekend too. We always have so much fun doing this together as a family.

We really had such a wonderful December. We were able to spend a lot of time together as a family and do fun holiday activities, and get gifts for ones we love, read lots of Christmas stories and talk a lot about the true meaning of Christmas. I love that as much as our girls love the gifts and treats and Santa part of Christmas they love the Spiritual part too. They love hearing the story of Christ's birth and thinking of ways we can serve others. They make everything in life better, sweeter and more memorable.

We were able to go to Tremonton the weekend after Christmas for New Years. It was such a fun weekend. We had a Christmas party with the Oyler Family, played lots of games, ate a lot of delicious food, and ended it on New Years day with celebrating the birth of Olivia (our niece) and seeing her be blessed.

We feel so blessed to have such great families who support us in all that we do, help us when we are in need, love us in spite of our shortcomings, forgive us for those faults we have and never give up on us. We love each moment we get to share with any and all of them. We love each of them so much.

And although its come and gone we truly hope that each and everyone of you had a wonderful holiday season and that this finds each of you and your families well.

November 2011

So our November started off with our Annual Beginning of the Holidays dinner. I love this tradition. It gets us all so excited for the holiday season and we all look forward to it each year.

The first weekend in November we had a Birthday party for my Grandpa Jarvis and I finally snapped a picture of all these cute girls that were born all in the same year.

June (ours of course), Maylee (Tanner and Leisha's/my niece), Tatum (Kaleb and Kat's/cousin), Maddie (Wes and Leah's/cousin)

And the birthday boy and his wife. I love these two people so much. They have been the best grandparents ever. I have learned so much from both of them through example and only hope I can come anywhere near the bar they have set.

We got our letters to Santa written early this year and it payed off...Santa wrote back to both girls...we were ALL very surprised and excited to find them in the mail one day.

June's personality continues to come out more and more all of the time..this picture makes me laugh so hard...and she knew just how funny she was.

This year we did a thankful turkey instead of a thankful tree...its so great seeing all of the big and small things we are each thankful for.

And for the biggest moment of our November...we announced that we were expecting our 4th child to our families on Thanksgiving. We are all so excited. I have felt great...just extremely tired. We are due May 25, 2012. And we are not finding out what we are having. We decided this as soon as we found out we were expecting...that makes it very difficult to think of names...but we are all excited to have a surprise. The girls can't wait and I am so glad that whatever this baby may be it will be blessed with some incredible big sisters who will love it more than anything else.

Halloween 2011

We had a bunch of bugs around here this past Halloween. When the girls saw that Junie was going to be a bumble bee they decided they wanted to be bugs too. Molly was a butterfly and Annie was a ladybug. They were pretty cute bugs if I say so myself. (And just a side note, notice the flowers in the background...still pretty and all that warm sun, not bad for Halloween).

October 2011

My parents came to visit in October and we headed out to the Dinosaur Quarry with them and Mindy and her kids. It was pretty cool and the girls enjoyed it.

After we drove to the river and although the water was freezing the girls including June could not get enough of playing in it.

We enjoyed the warm weather and hit up the park.

Brandon invited us to ride his horse one night..it was fun to each take a turn riding. The girls absolutely loved it and asked if we could get a horse of our own...maybe one day, Uncle Brandon's will have to do for now though.

We also got to go see our newest member of the family. Courtney had her baby the end of October. We all fell in love with Olivia as soon as we met her. She is so sweet.

Annie's 4th Birthday

Since we were up in Idaho for conference weekend we decided to start celebrating Annie's birthday a little early so she could share with her cousins. We had cupcakes and opened a few presents.

Jake and I took her to McDonald's for lunch and she thought that was pretty great.

We picked Molly up from school and went to see Dolphin Tale. We all loved it. When we came home we had dinner, Annie requested Jake's famous hamburgers and then we opened gifts before eating cake.

Annie is such a sweet girl and we love having her in our family. She is very tenderhearted and quite the tease. She can make us all laugh with her contagious giggle and she loves her sisters so much. I hope she has a great year!

September 2011

Jake was gone a lot of August and September, recruiting for work. We sure missed him a ton, but we tried to have lots of fun when he was home on the weekends and I tried to stay busy with the girls and on my own while he was gone so we would make it through.

June finally decided she would try to start walking in September.

Tanner, Leisha and Maylee came over Labor Day weekend. I wish I could remember everything we did with them, but its been so long. I know we had a lot of fun and I wish we would get more visitors than we do.

Mid-September Jake was able to go on a road trip with some of his best friends. They headed up to Oregon and spent a few days golfing...a lot.

And she did it...she started walking and hasn't stopped moving since.

While Jake was gone I kept myself busy canning in the evenings. I did pears, peaches, raspberry jam and also a lot of grape juice. It really helped time pass by quick.

We spent as much time as we could outside and enjoyed visiting the park often.

I love catching moments like this...makes me smile.

These two have become quite the pair...I sure love watching them become such good friends.

Yes I am way behind but I am going to play catch up anyways. Annie had her first day of preschool this past fall. She has been so excited for it for a long time. She was super excited because she even got to start a day before Molly started school.

One Saturday Jake and I did our mommy/daddy-daughter dates. It was mommy and Annie's turn and daddy and Molly's turn. Annie and I took Junie bug with us. We hit up a local bookstore that has a sandwich shop in it and ate lunch and read some books, then headed to some fountains to get wet for a bit. After that we walked around the Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum (which has some pretty cool old things in it) and walked around the temple grounds and then we met up with Jake and Molly for ice cream. Jake and Molly got lunch at Wendy's and took it to a pavilion to eat and then went and played some tennis together. I love these moments and wish we made them happen more often, its really fun to get some one on one time with the girls and talk about things that they want to talk about.

In the middle of August I headed up to the Oregon coast for a few days to meet up with some of my old roomies, and dear friends. I was actually quite nervous to go, but once I got there, I loved every minute. It was so great to enjoy these wonderful women again and soak in all that they have to offer. I can't wait until next time.

While I was in Oregon Jake and the girls hung out with Stacy and her family... he was such a good dad and made sure they had a good time. They went to the zoo, the splash park and even saw this fun Up house while driving around. He even did the girls school shopping...he is the best!

And here you can see it after. We headed out to the Wasatch Front to see Jake's dad and family while he was in town. We took some time as a family to go the Planetarium and look around before meeting up with them. I didn't get any pictures of us while we were together but it was such a great day and Stacy and Nathan we great hosts like always.

The girls and I went to the park and had a picnic on their last day of summer vacation. I sure love these girls. I miss them while they are at school, but really love that they love school, it sure makes it easier letting them go each day.

Well the rest of Birthday Week was great! While Jake worked the girls helped me decorate the house and make Jake his very own candy-gram. We all sure like this guy and were excited to have a day to celebrate him. After he got home from work we went and got Cafe Rio, opened presents and then headed off to our soccer game. We got home late and were exhausted...that may be why Jake looks a little bit like he wants to die.

I made the girls go to the park with me for a picnic on my birthday to help the time pass by. They sure are so cute and were so good to me all day long.

Jake totally spoiled me and I finally got my KitchenAid!!!! I love it! And I love red!

Molly Jane is 6 Years Old!

Molly's big day was on August 1st and got Birthday week rolling in full swing. I absolutely love celebrating holidays and birthdays in our house, not because of the gifts and all, but because these girls of ours get so excited no matter what it is or who's it is.

July was such a busy month...really though what month isn't? Here is a run through of the rest of our month.

We all watched Cars 2 and then all of the girls went to sleep and Jake and I got settled in to watch Pirates of the Caribbean but being the old farts we are....haha we both totally fell asleep and ended up just coming home half way through the movie. June's birthday was on July 20th. I can't believe how fast this past year flew by. The morning of her birthday we were in Draper with my sisters and my mom saying goodbye to Cassie. June was so funny, as soon as she woke up it was like she knew it was her day. She was like that all day, just smiling and clapping. So cute.

A Day in the Great Outdoors

Before Molly was even out of school we sat down as a family and talked about things we wanted to do this summer. Surprisingly we have actually done quite a few of those things ( there are still a lot we didn't get to though). One of those items on the list was a cookout in the mountains. One Saturday afternoon after we finished up some work at home we headed up the mountain...it was perfect. We roasted hotdogs and marshmallows and took a walk through the woods.

Have I told you how much I love these girls? Well if I haven't, I love them so much. They are the best little girls in the world. Even if their hair is a mess and they get a little crazy.

Let's start with this one...June Bug. She is growing up way too fast. She has three teeth, almost 4. She is into everything and trying to climb everything she can. She is starting to stand by herself and takes a few steps here and there. She loves to pretend she is talking on the phone, clap her hands, blow kisses and cuddle. We all love her so much and really cannot get enough of her.

Next Annie Pie... this little girl is getting big too. She is starting preschool tomorrow and cannot wait. She loves learning right now and loves doing whatever her big sister is doing. She has moved up to riding a big girl bike with training wheels. She is so sweet, and funny and shy. She loves to dance and always wants to be by her daddy when he is home. She helps take care of Junie and melts all of our hearts still with those big dimples.

Molly Moo...oh how I love this picture. My baby has suddenly become quite the little lady. How has 6 years flown by so quickly? She is so excited to start 1st grade this week. I am going to miss her so much. I am not ready to let go of her. I hope and pray we have taught her the things that she needs to survive in this scary world. She is so smart...she loves to read and add and rhyme and write and spell and everything else. She is such a huge help with her little sisters and around the house. She is smart and sassy and sweet all at once.

And this man. Oh how I love him. He is such a hard worker. He is such an amazing dad. He is always a great example. He is sweet and thoughtful. He is so patient. He is the best.

I feel so blessed to have such an amazing husband and wonderful children.

Reunions Galore...

So right after we were in Pocatello we headed to Boise so Jake could do some recruiting there as well. While Jake was at work the girls and I met up with some of our dearest friends and headed to a cool splash park. The girls had lots of fun. After Jake was done working we all went out to dinner...I had to get a picture of our girls together...we've added a few since we all used to live in Logan.

After dinner we headed up to Idaho City for Jake's family reunion. This was the first one that we had been to for the whole time since we have been married and the first one that both Stacy and Nathan and their family and us were at together. It was so much fun. We had cabins to stay in, and we did so many fun things. Jake went golfing all day one day, and while he was gone we played games, and blew bubbles, and played bingo, and drew sidewalk chalk pictures and the girls just played and played. The other days included, horse shoes, lightening, crafts, more bingo, minute to win it, more games, karaoke, balloon making, t-shirt painting, the local 4th of July parade, some crazy, scary fireworks and even a pinata. The girls loved every minute and we were so glad we could be there for all of the fun.

June Bugs first 4th of July

A couple days after getting home we headed back up to Idaho for Hannah's family reunion. Cassie and Doug were in town so we all got together for a couple of days,(minus Brandon and Mindy's family who were missed greatly.) My mom had this great Luau the first night. She made a ton of delicious Hawaiian foods and even made herself this super cute dress...she rocks! She had the best games that we all enjoyed playing and made us laugh a whole lot. Thanks mom it was so perfect. The next day we had a big breakfast and all got ready for the day and then we played some minute to win it games and just enjoyed being together...it was so much fun.

We had so much fun spending time with both of our families and good friends. We really have such great families and are so grateful for all of them. We have driven to see them all alot this summer for one reason or another and as painful as the drive can be sometimes it is always worth it to share these moments with ones we love and have the chance to make new memories each time. We love all of you.

Running...Running...Running...That's our life (in every way and everything)

Well we had a very busy, crazy, fun month in June. I know there may seem to be a ton of pictures here but this is a small portion and its missing a week of what the girls did without us at my mom's..so it could be worse (for you I guess). It started out really dirty the first weekend. Jake and I ran the Dirty Dash 5k with Stacy and Nathan and Caleb and Marci. It was quite fun actually. There were a few moments I thought what the heck am I doing here but it was quite fun. We forgot to take before pictures..but just imagine us like this...just a whole lot cleaner.

Our girls were lucky enough to get to go hang out at my mom's family reunion that was going on at the same time. We were sad we missed it but at least they got to go. I don't really have any pictures of what they did, but I did get this one from my mom of my Dad with June Bug and my adorable niece Maylee. June is 6 weeks older than Maylee and I look forward to the fun these two girls will have growing up. This actually happened to be my Dad's 62nd birthday also.

The next weekend we headed to Bear Lake and met up with Tanner and Leisha and my parents (on their 40th Anniversary!) We spent the night there and in the morning Tanner, Jake and I all ran the half marathon. I know lots of people run these and its not a big deal but it was a big deal to me. It was Jake's second one and he did awesome! It was my first one ever (and possibly last...haha...). My little brother Tanner ran the whole thing with me and it was so much fun with him. I don't think I could have finished if it wasn't for him. It wasn't near as bad as I imagined it would be. I am so glad Jake helped encourage me to do it and for the many hours he so willingly took care of the girls so I could get my runs in. Thanks Tanner and thanks Jake...you guys are awesome! (And a huge thanks to my mom and Leisha for getting my girls ready and taking care of them while we ran.)

After the race we all went and got ready and hit up LaBeau's for lunch and a raspberry shake and then my mom took the girls home with her and Jake and I headed to the airport for our week in Chicago. Jake had a safety conference the first part of the week and then we had the annual leadership conference the last half of the week. It was sooooooo much fun! I went to some of Jake's conference with him, relaxed in the hotel ALOT and then we did some sight seeing and ate a whole lot of good food.

In the same park they had this splash pad and at both ends were these big towers with water running down them...these random faces would come on and then eventually it made it look like the water was coming out of their mouths...it was kinda funny.

On our way to eat at and Italian Meat Sandwich place (which was so good and has been on Man vs. Food) we stopped in a Sports Authority store and saw this...wow he has giant hands.

One day we just walked around the city a bit and ate at Ed Debevic's..so funny. The waiters are jerks here and it made us laugh our faces off...and the food wasn't too bad either.

Savage took us to see a Cub's game. It was delayed by rain for nearly 2 hours but it was a lot of fun, a beautiful field and there was a ton of different food being made and offered the entire time. We went to the Rooftop Restaurant across the street to watch the game..it was pretty cool.

While out with some of the other wive's I got "attacked" by one of the ladies at this kiosk....before I could even say no thanks she had the fake extensions in my hair and it all combed to show me how pretty it could be. It was pretty cool and only made me wish I had that long, thick hair all of the time.

This was a fun activity they had us do in groups at lunch one day. We each had a section of the picture and had to draw it on the board and then connect it all to make the whole picture.

In front of the Museum of Industry and Science. One of the coolest museums I have ever been to. This is definately somewhere I want to take my kids to someday.

I think that is an airplane behind us in the museum.

And finally on our way home...I think we look a little tired.

The girls stayed at my mom's while we were gone. I guess they were too busy having fun to take pictures but here is one of them and some of their cousins. I think they had a different set of cousins there everyday. They were in heaven.

The day after we got home was Father's Day. The girls had made him this "Pin the tie on the Daddy" game. We had fun playing it. Jake really is such an amazing dad. I am so lucky to get to do this whole parenting thing with him, he is incredible.

And since we got back we have just been going going going. The girls did a jello slide one day.

And we headed to the splash park with friends another day.

We have done some fun "science" experiments. This one was pretty cool with milk, food coloring and dish soap.

This is how June looked one morning when I got her out of bed...no pants and one arm out of the neck of her pjs. She makes me laugh.

The very end of the month we headed up to Pocatello and while Jake headed to IF to work for the day the girls and I hung out with Leisha and Maylee all day. It was so much fun. We don't get to see them often enough. After Jake got back we went out to eat and then headed off to Boise for more work and a family reunion...more to come on all of that later.

Thanks to everyone who helped take care of our girls so that we could run our races and go to Chicago, we are so grateful for all of your willingness to do so. And thanks for all of the fun too! July has been just as busy, crazy, fun as June was...you will see.

Well we finally got some sun and kind of warm days in May so we decided to take advantage and head to the park for a cook out. We played a little soccer and on the playground while we were there.

I was completely spoiled by my girls and Jake on Mother's Day. It was wonderful. Lots of cards, a nap, delicious food that I didn't have to make, lots of hugs and kisses and I love you-s. And this wonderful sign and garden of flowers. I feel so blessed to be the wife of such an amazing man and to be a mother to these 3 amazing girls. I learn so much from them everyday and it amazes me how much love I have for each one of them. I am so grateful for the many examples of wonderful women in my life so that I can be the mom that I am.

I told you, she won't stop growing...she loves to pull herself up on everything and walk along everything now days. She is getting too big too fast.

We were lucky enough to get to go up to Tremonton and spend a couple of days visiting with Grandma Jill and Grandpa Golfball, who was home for a few days. We had lots of family all home together as a family. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of the girls with their grandpa while he was home, or with their cousins while they were there playing. But we did have a lot of fun. One day we headed out to show the girls The Golden Spike. They loved seeing the trains move and hear them blow their horns. It was a fun time.

We also went and showed them the Rocket boosters at ATK.

Afterwards we headed to the park and had a picnic, played soccer and played on the swings.

We spent some time every weekend at the soccer fields. It really was so much fun watching Molly improve each week and see her score goals and see how much she loved it and what a little go-getter she was. I loved watching Jake coach also. He is so good with kids, it is one of many things that I am so grateful for...he has always been the best daddy and does so well in these situations.

We had so much fun like I said before. I was trying to take care of a sick June Bug the day of Molly's last game so I never got a picture of her with her medal, but she was pretty excited and we can't wait for her to start playing again in the fall. Molly also finished her first year of school this month also. I can't believe that she is going to be in first grade, how do they grow up so fast. Annie was excited when the school year ended, she now has her best friend home all day long now and is that much closer to starting preschool, which she is very excited to be doing. I am sure we did more, but I think that I have been so forgetful when it comes to taking pictures. I will try to be better, because when I don't take pictures I forget. Well until next time.

Well April started off busy just like any other month and/or day in our life. As soon as the snow melted and it warmed up a little we started tackling our backyard...it was scary the weeds pictured below are only a small percent of what there really was.

Jake took on the job to burn them all and surprisingly it went quite quickly. It was so nice to see the ground again out back.

On Conference Saturday Grandma Great Oyler came out for a quick little visit. We hit up McDonalds and headed to Fantasy Canyon. We hadn't been back since we first moved here and unfortunately picked a windy day to go back. It was so windy June and I headed back to the car while the rest of the group made a quick trip through it all. We all had dirt in our eyes, ears, hair and teeth. But still it was fun and we were glad we could share something we love with someone we love. As always though she headed home soon after we returned.

Molly started playing soccer for her first time. She was so adorable in her uniform (that she will be wearing for the next 4 years). And she is actually quite the go getter. I think she scored in every game besides her first one. But that is because they told us the wrong time for her game so there were way more kids then there should have been and by the time they got it somewhat organized it started getting cold and about 10 seconds after I took the picture below Molly got put in the game and immediately after that it started hailing so hard...kids and parents were running to their cars as fast as they could. She actually said she didn't really like soccer after that first week, but quickly changed her mind once it warmed up and she got to play for more than 5 seconds. We look forward to more seasons of this and watching her improve more and more.

We decided to have a surprise family gathering/party for my mom's 60th birthday. She was so funny getting all mad at us because we told her not to cook anything and to just relax (we already had plans for food and didn't want her messing it all up), but seemed quite surprised and happy when she walked into Jeremy and Katie's house and we all shouted Surprise to her. I am so made I didn't even think to take a picture of her reaction...it was pretty good though. We just ate lunch together and visited and then had a big Easter egg hunt for all the grandkids. It was so nice getting to be together and celebrate such an amazing woman. She really is incredible. Such an amazing example of love, faith, courage to face each new day no matter the trials, and complete selflessness. We love you so much mom.

Cute Junie started growing up too. She started sporting the piggy tail and began to show her personality more and more each day. We love her so much...isn't it amazing that we used to live without her...how did we do that? We sure are glad she is part of our family, she makes us laugh everyday and we just can't get enough of her.

One night we all made and decorated paper airplanes and then had a competition to see who's flew the best. I don't remember who won, but we all sure had fun doing this.

So many fun memories made. I just love being married to such a fun and exciting man who gives so much time to his family and is always willing to do fun things with the kids, even when he is tired and has worked all day. I love being mom to 3 beautiful girls who bring so much joy into my life each moment I am with them. I am truly blessed.

Grand Junction Getaway

Back in March we were anxious to get away for a bit and out of the cold so we headed to Grand Junction for a weekend getaway and it was so much fun. We ate out at good places, went shopping at a mall and Target (this is a big deal for us and the girls love it every chance we have). One day we played on a park for quite awhile and the weather was perfect for a beautiful spring day...it was still so cold in Vernal so it was wonderful to us. We also went swimming in the hotel pool and took a scenic drive home as well as made a stop and went on a little hike. It was exactly what we all needed and a fun little trip. We didn't take pictures of everything but we got some at the park and on our way home.

March was a very busy but very good month. One weekend Jake and I did our Mommy/daughter and Daddy/Daughter dates with the girls. Jake and Annie went to McDonald's and to wash the truck and we also met up and bought Annie a big girl bed finally. Molly and I headed to Pizza Hut to redeem two of her reading certificates and then off to get her hair cut. She has been begging for months and I finally let her get it cut to her shoulders but it still wasn't short enough for her...sorry we need to be able to do pigtails.

Here she is before with her long hair...I didn't actually get any after pics, I forgot, but you might be able to tell in some of the other pictures.

I decided to surprise the girls on Dr. Seuss's birthday and have a little Dr. Seuss lunch. We had green eggs and ham (and cheese), blue goo, and you can't tell the drinks are pink but they were supposed to be pink ink. They had fun, I think.

We also made Dr. Seuss hats to add to the fun.

We had a naughty little Leprechaun visit us again this year on St. Patricks day. He left his messy green footprints all over the kitchen, turned our milk green and even used our toilet leaving a green mess in there too.

But he made up for it by leaving the girls a fun little surprise.

We love this Holiday and make sure that every year we have a green themed dinner. This year we had green noodles with sauce, green breadsticks, green salad and....

June had her 8 month birthday in March...I can't believe how fast time flies by, i swear she was just born.

And this silly little girl...she loves not only to have her picture taken of her but she loves to take pictures and this below is only a fraction of the kind of pictures we find on our camera after she gets ahold of it.

June with her first little pigtails...I love them but it makes her look so grown up.

We were lucky enough to have my parents come out for a very quick visit the end of March. We visited with them, Molly read to them, they played games with the kids, we went to lunch one day with my SIL, and they were kind enough to watch the kids for a bit so that we could go to the Temple and do a little shopping. It was so much fun to have them here, we love visitors and we hadn't had any since September. We hope now that the weather is warmer we will get more out here.

We have finally had a few warmer days and when we do we have to take advantage of them. We headed to the park one day and seriously this girl loves to be outside...and thats a good thing because I think we will be doing a lot of that this summer.

Molly was spotlighted in her Kindergarten class and was able to make a poster all about herself. She picked all the pictures out on her own and also wanted to include a map (like we did for her preschool one) that showed all of the places she has been and lived...its alot of places and her Daddy was so good to help her color them all and write the names of them all just like she wanted.

Well that was our month, besides a spur of the moment getaway to Grand Junction that I will post about soon. You'll really want to tune in for all of that excitement.

Call me cheesy but I am all about the day of Love and being extra sappy...its how I roll. We had a great month.

January 2011..Bring on the New Year

So we started off the New Year excited and ready for new adventures. And boy have we had them. New callings, new goals, finding more things to do indoors during the long cold winter and watching our girls grow up more every day, especially little Junie.

Other December Happenings...

I have been trying to post for over a month now, I know late, but now its even later. I was finally able to upload these pictures so here are a few(okay alot) of the things that we did the rest of December.

June kept growing and growing.

We cut down our Christmas Tree for the first time ever...it was kinda big. We loved it!

So far 2011 has been a great year full of changes and excitement. We are loving life.

Christmas 2010

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. We were home just as our own little family. And it was so nice. I have always loved Christmas but I promise you I am more excited now as a mom than I ever was as a kid. It is so much fun! We didn't get near as many pictures as we usually would because a few minutes into all the present opening the camera died and we could not find the charger anywhere. (It was found after all of the fun and excitement out in the car) So onto all the fun pictures.

I was so happy that as soon as the Santa gifts were opened, out of all the presents under the tree all of the girls wanted to do their sibling gifts. It was so much fun to see how excited they were to give eachother the gifts that they had picked out for their sister. I hope that never changes.

Grandma Lynda and Grandpa Lauritz gave Molly and Annie Zhu-Zhu pets and I think those were one of their favorite gifts they got...they still love them.

And last of all the girls favorite gifts...their very own sleeping bags. I think they stayed in them most of Christmas day...even while playing...and then their daddy taught them how to slide down the stairs in them...they call it Splash Mountain.

So yes another year over and onto a new one. We had such a great Christmas and always treasure the memories we make each year and enjoy spending time with those we love.

The Happiest Place on Earth!

The second week in December we were lucky enough to take a real family vacation and head to California. Stacy and Nathan (Jake's sister and her husband) were kind enough to invite us to tag along, and I am so grateful for them giving us that opportunity. We went to Disneyland, California Adventure and the beach. It was so much fun...this was my very first time going to the Happy place as well as the girls and it was everything we could have imagined and more....plus it was all decked out for Christmas...so double bonus...we love Christmas, just in case you didn't know that. The girls loved it and were very brave, willing to ride any of the rides that they were able to. They loved seeing the princesses and Disney Characters. I think it was especially fun for them having their cousins there. We all had so much fun and the weather was beautiful...a nice break from the Utah winter. I don't think a day goes by that Molly and Annie don't say something about Disneyland, that is how much they loved it. I am sure we will be heading back just as soon as we are able to. I know June won't remember a thing, but we have the pictures to prove she was there, and that she was a great baby, she did so well on the drive and while we toted her around everywhere. And thank you Jake for helping check off another thing on my to-do list. You are the best! Well on to the photos...sorry about the overload but it was just so much fun.

We stayed in a condo in Newport Beach so of course we headed to the beach one day and it was the best! We decided to drive to Vegas on our way home and get a head start for the next day...the girls thought staying in Excalibur was pretty cool, but when we tried to go out and walk around, we realized, although we were able to have some good object lessons with our children...not so fun.

This trip will always be something we will remember and treasure. We had so much fun. The girls were so good and fun to watch as they took it all in. Thanks again Stacy and Nathan for the invite, we owe you.

Seven years ago....

I was lucky enough to marry the man of my dreams.

Together we have made it through Undergrad and Graduate school. Seven different jobs between the both of us. Lived in 3 different states and in 6 different apartments and bought 2 homes.

We have also had many adventures together...some of which include moving back east to West Virginia and while there seeing D.C, NYC, Pittsburgh, North Carolina, Virgina, and so much more. Then on to Houston, TX...as well as Seatle, The Oregon Coast, Arizona, DisneyLand, San Antonio, Bryce Canyon...many of them places I never thought I would go.

And together we have created a beautiful family.

Jake makes life so much better.

He is the best husband and daddy in the world. He is always kind and good and honest. He is a strength to our family in everything he does. He is a hard worker. He is really funny and can always make me laugh. He is patient.

I love him more than words can say. Happy Anniversary Jake. I love you so much.

November in a Nutshell

Here are the girls on November 1st the night of our Annual Beginning of the Holidays Dinner. I think we all look forward to this each year, eating a nice dinner, talking about the things we want to do during the holiday season, and letting the girls open up holiday pajamas has been a fun new addition.

This post has a lot of pictures of Junie...she is just growing up too fast and I have been much worse at taking pictures of this sweet baby then I was with my other kids...but I do have some.

Here she is in one of my baby outfits...I have pictures of both the other girls in this outfit...its fun to see the differences and similarities.

We headed up to Idaho the first weekend in November and were able to attend our niece Sadie's baptism, spend time with family, see some old friends, and also attend Maylee's blessing. I unfortunately did not get any pictures of the girls on their special days...but they both looked beautiful and we were so glad to be able to see them and be a part of their day. We were able to hang out with Tanner and Leisha at mom and dad's for a bit...here are the two cuties again...getting bigger.

Now that its too cold to do anything we've tried to get out to reading time at the library...we still miss it often but we have fun when we do make it there.

Annie begs me to straighten her hair all of the time, but I always say no because I love her curls. I finally gave in one day...I was surprised to see how long her hair is and I couldn't believe how grown up she looked.

Happy Baby

We were lucky enough to be able to go to Stacy and Nathan's for Thanksgiving this year. They were great hosts and we had so much fun and ate so much delicious food. Unfortunately I didn't get many pictures of the great time we had, but here are a few.

One of my assignments was to make pies....I made seven. I don't know if any of them were that great but they sure look pretty in pictures.

I did remember to at least get a picture of June on her first Thanksgiving.

Molly and Annie have so much fun with their cousins...they played nonstop for hours...a lot of the time was spent dressing up and doing fashion shows for the adults.

They played so hard they had to take a nap on the stairs...silly girls.

All of our sweet baby girls...I can't get over how big they are all getting. Molly now weighs 33 lbs, loves to eat food, finally!, is reading anything and everything she can get her hands on, loves school and is such a great big sister and a huge help for me. Annie now weighs 29 lbs, still loves to eat veggies more than anything else, is learning all of her letters, sounds and so much more, she loves our little mini preschool sessions her and I do each day and helps me with June so much while Molly is at school, she is so sweet and shares so well with everyone. June weighs a little over 13 lbs...is now eating solids, she loves the veggies and is still making up her mind about the fruits. She is rolling and scooting in cirlcles, she is trying to sit up and gets closer everyday. She is usually a very happy baby, unless its dark and we are in the car, or as of late Jake or I walking out of the room she is in upsets her. We sure love these girls so much.

One last one....June trying rice cereal for the first time. She turned 4 months in November.

Haha...I know. Anyways...Conference weekend Jake and I were able to go to the Utah State/BYU game...and it was awesome! We had so much fun watching the Cougars get beat...and then seeing the field get rushed. We loved every minute of it. And I don't care if BYU was bad this year and that is why we beat them, all I do care about is that we beat them. I wish Jake and I were able to go to more games...it is always a good time.

We then spent the weekend with family watching conference. Here are June and her cousin Maylee. June is six weeks older but I don't know if you can tell.

Molly's school didn't let them wear costumes for Halloween but the were able to dress up like what they wanted to be when they were older...Molly wants to be a dance teacher.

We ventured out to the Jensen pumpkin Festival....crazy...we actually got stuck in a traffic jam and if you know where Jensen is you would think that was funny.

After the trunk or treat where there were 3 wards and the girls scored big time in the candy department, we headed to the Rec. Center to the Carnival and it was a lot of fun. The girls had some fun doing all the little booths.

Annie's 3rd Birthday October 5, 2010

I can't believe my Annie Pie is 3 years old! How did that happen? Her Birthday was on the 5th of October. She loved every minute of it. Annie is such a sweet girl. She always wants to help with June and has actually changed a few of her diapers. She loves to play with Molly and loves to share with her. She is always asking how she can help me and she loves her daddy more than anyone else. She has quite the dance moves and makes us laugh all of the time. She is learning more everyday and still talks all of our ears off. We love her so much and are so glad she is in our family.

We couldn't believe how warm it was on her birthday this year. We decided to take advantage of it and headed to the park to have a picnic and ride bikes.

Annie really wanted to go swimming for her birthday so after dinner we headed over to the Rec. Center for a couple hours of good, wet fun. Here is Mols loving it.

Annie changed her mind every day about what kind of cake she wanted. And then the last couple of days before her birthday she kept saying she wanted a round purple cake with candy on it. I actually had the thought go through my head "wow finally and easy cake". And then I decided since it was going to be so simple I would make a cake from scratch as well as homemade frosting....Let's just say that was a bad idea. Thankfully this picture doesn't show just how bad it was, but something I am even more happy about was that Annie didn't even care how ugly it was, she loved it!

I can't believe just what a big and smart girl Annie is. She surprises me everyday and makes me smile. We all love her so much and can't wait to see how she changes this next year.

September Happenings

September just flew right by. We tried to take as much advantage as we could of the warm weather thinking it would be gone soon. Luckily we had a beautiful Autumn and were able to play outside a lot longer than we thought we were going to be able to. We spent most of the month getting used to having a new schedule here with Molly in school and getting used to her being gone each day. Not too many exciting things happened, besides watching our cute girls grow and learn everyday. We were able to go and see Jake's sister and her husband be sealed to their adorable little boy that they adopted in March. It was so neat to see their whole family in temple. We feel so blessed we were able to be there with them on their special day. Well here are some pictures of the girls, thats what ya'll come to see anyways.

One of the many pictures of her starting to smile, which I guess her official day (where someone other than me saw her smile) was August 29th.

In September it had been 10 years since Jake and I started dating and we thought it would be fun to do so many of the things we have always loved to do together and with our kids. We headed to the park and and had a picnic and played catch and football with the girls. And then we headed to the driving range and hit balls. I was able to use my new clubs!

We went and had a cook out at the park again, just taking advantage of the beautiful weather. (yes we have only had snow for a couple of days and we all already miss summer)

Molly was supposed to make her Hero out of a vegetable and write about them. When I asked who she wanted to do she said without any hesitation "my daddy". She told me what she wanted to write and I wrote it down for her and then she copied the whole thing all by herself. She is getting so good at writing and amazes me every day with how well she can read.

Here she is with her Vegetable Daddy Hero. (It was so much cuter than this when I sent it to school with her. It had another googly eye and a big button for its nose, but they fell off and her teacher lost them and thought these would be good things to replace them with....we didn't think that was such a great idea and Molly was a bit disappointed). It was still cute.

Here is what she wrote about her daddy.

My hero is my daddy. He helps me when I get hurt. I love him a lot. I don't like when he goes to work but it helps me. He plays with me. I think he is so strong he could pick up my house. He gets me snacks. He catches grasshoppers with me. He is the coolest daddy.

I know cute, right? I am pretty sure its safe to say that Jake was pretty proud. Well thats our September in a nutshell.

June's Blessing Day

I know its been forever..but I really have a good reason this time and its not just my laziness, we have not had internet for the past month, but now that we do, we will hopefully get all caught up soon. We were able to give June a name and a blessing on September 5th. It was such a wonderful day. We had almost all of our family here (which we were not expecting), June was so good and looked beautiful in her dress (that my wonderful mom made), Jake gave June such a beautiful blessing (and I am kicking myself for forgetting to write down everything he said), and we had delicious food to top it all off ( thanks to everyone who helped out).

Here we are as our family of five...we are so grateful for Junie.

I still can't believe that we have been so blessed to have another beautiful little girl.

Not the best picture of Junie but I had to get one of her dress...My mom did so great making this dress. It is totally June, sweet and simple. June has been the most delightful baby, so easy going and sweet.

I love this picture minus the light shining right on her face...she is still beautiful though.

We missed Grandpa Golfball, Cassie and Family, Adam and Tanner and Leisha and sweet Maylee. Thank you for all of your help with the delicious food. Its funny I can't believe how much June has changed since these pictures were taken. She is a champion smiler and has been for quite some time now, and loves to coo and giggle. Molly and Annie still love being big sisters. I love watching Jake with June I don't think he can get enough of her. As for me...I know I can't get enough of her...she has me wrapped around her little finger. She brings so much joy to our family, I wonder how we ever survived without her. Funny how that happens..with each new child. Well we love all of you.

First Day of School...and the rest of our lives.

Yes this day really came. I knew it was coming, I just didn't want to believe it. Molly started kindergarten on the 1st of September. I have been dreading this day for so many different reasons. But this little girl has been counting down the days until she was able to go to school since....well forever. She was so excited...not even nervous a little bit. Seeing her so excited made it harder for me to be sad...but I'd be lying if I said I didn't shed a couple of tears.

By the time I took this picture of her sitting at her desk, she was ready for us to all leave, but I talked her into giving me one more smile. And you know what? She loves it...everyday she comes home happy.

The night before Molly started school we decided to take her out to dinner and let her pick the place...so to McDonalds we headed. She is telling her Daddy just how excited she is to go to school.

I had to put this picture on because Molly going to school has been so good for these two girls. They miss each other so much during the day that when Molly gets home, they are best buddies and get along so much better than they have recently. Annie didn't know what to do with herself for the first couple of days...I think now she is realizing she can play whatever she wants while Molly is gone and is really starting to enjoy it. She has been such a big help with June too.

And yes one more picture for your pleasure. This sweet baby girl has started to smile at us alot. Unfortunately as soon as the camera comes out she stops...I almost caught this one...but she is still cute no matter what.We sure love this little June bug.

August...

Well I seriously can't believe that August has already come and gone. It was a fun and crazy month. We were and are still getting used to having a baby in our lives again. At the beginning of the month Jake had to work in SLC and it was the same weekend I had a cousin getting married so we decided to make it our first little road trip with Junie. We got to see lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins on both sides of the family. It was lots of fun. We were also able to take June to meet her Great Grandma and Grandpa Jarvis. Here is Grandma Great meeting Junie for the first time. I love this picture and I feel so blessed that our kids have had so many of their great grandparents in their lives.

I had plans to get a cute picture of her on her month mark...I forgot until late that night so this is what I got...June 1 month old.

We headed to Tremonton for Jake's 10 year class reuinon. Jake was able to go golfing with his friends, we stayed with Grandma Jill, and we met up with some of our friends that were in town for lunch. It was so fun, we all used to play on a softball team together when we were first married, if was fun to see how now we had seven kids between the 3 couples that were there. Its amazing what changes in five years.

Since we hadn't seen Melissa and her kids all summer I decided to stay at my mom's for the week before Molly started school and we have to stay home from now on. Jake headed back home to work and we missed him so much. It was fun to show Junie off to more family. She met the rest of her Aunts and Uncles and cousins on my side as well as my Dad. Haylee could not get enough of Junie. She kept begging to hold her and loved it when she got to. As you can see below.

I also have to note what Payton said about June. He told us she smelled like Lime pie and that she had little T-rex arms ( he loves dinosaurs). So cute and made us all laugh.

We mostly just hung out at my mom's house but one day Melissa and I got adventurous and decided to take the kids to Willow Park. I think we all had lots of fun. We had a picnic and then went to see all the animals. The kids loved it.

I have been so bad at remembering to get pictures of June with all of the important people in her life. But I did remember to snap one of Grandpa Lauritz and her.

Jake came back the next weekend and we headed back to Tremonton for the weekend. We went and watched Stacy and Nathan finish their half marathon in Logan Saturday morning, went to lunch and did some shopping. Then we all headed to the Fair that night.
